7 Mother’s Day plant ideas to show you care
Mother’s Day is almost here! And if you’re not prepared or searching for last-minute gifts, don’t stress. Because we’ve got tons of ideas that will make mum smile and feel appreciated. 1. Orchids
Bold and colourful, orchids are super popular and you get the best of both worlds with them - a plant and a flower in one. We can probably all agree that they look high maintenance, with their slightly exotic-looking nature. But trust us, they’re very easy to look after, even for beginners. Orchids come in a variety of colours, too, from pink and white orchids to red and blue. So, choose whichever colour mum likes best or would look amazing in her house.
2. Succulents
If your mum was great at raising kids but not so great at keeping plants alive, then succulents are the way to go. Pop them in a sunny spot, give them a weekly spritz, and they’ll be happy. Even if she forgets to spritz them occasionally, they won’t mind. Succulents will live their best life in almost any condition. You can get loads of different types of succulents, too, like aloe vera, which will help to purify the air or a snake plant which always looks striking.
