Castle Farm, located near the village of Shoreham in Kent – is a family farm that has operated since 1892 and is the UK's largest lavender farm, growing over 110 acres of the beautiful purple plant. During the summer months, lavender blooms on the farm between June to late July, where the farm welcomes visitors to enjoy a variety of experiences and events, including guided tours, bring-your-own picnic, wreath-making workshops and evening breathwork workshops.

You’ll want to book a trip immediately. 2025 tickets are currently available and range from £8.50 per adult to £6.50 for children. Between June and August, the Main Field is open for visitors to see acres of lavender in bloom, where you can take stunning photos amidst a sea of purple.

Mayfield Lavender Farm is a 25-acre lavender farm with a café and shop in Banstead (Woodmansterne), Surrey – approximately 15 miles from London. The lavender typically starts to bloom towards the middle to the end of June, with the fields open to the public from the 14th of June – to the 17th of August.

Cotswold Lavender has grown lavender for the last 25 years and is home to over 35 different varieties of lavender, covering approximately 45 acres. Visitors will be welcomed back to the farm from Wednesday, 18th June to Wednesday 6th August and are encouraged to bring picnics, walk through the lavender fields and enjoy the spectacular views. 5. Tarnhill Farm

Every summer, the Scottish Lavender Farm opens to the public, providing a chance to walk through the fields of lavender in full bloom, learn about distillation and experience the calm of a working lavender farm. Finchingfield Lavender can be found just an hour away from London in the beautiful countryside of Essex. Along with growing lavender, the farm offers private glamping pitches where kids can stay for free. The pitches include toilets, firepits with BBQ grills and picnic benches for al fresco dining.

The lavender farm is open from the end of June to mid-August. Unless you are glamping, it is a ticketed event, and it's worth booking online in advance. Deck chairs, sun loungers, hay bale sofas, chairs, and picnic blankets are all provided in the lavender field, so guests can truly relax in a gorgeous setting that is a true pleasure to the senses.

Located in the wild, windswept high hills north of Bannau Brycheiniog (formerly Brecon Beacons), the farm is home to spectacular views in all directions. The lavender is grown with the environment and conservation of the natural habitat in mind so no fertilizers or pesticides are used, which has allowed the farm to become a haven for local wildlife. Found at the Hartley Park Farm in Hampshire, The Lavender Fields is run by fourth-generation farmers who introduced English lavender in 1999. The owners are conscious the farming landscape is changing, and they aim to ensure the Butler family continue to farm at Hartley Park for generations to come. Their lavender enterprise helps to fund this mission.

The lavender field will open again in June 2025 for the public when the lavender blooms return. The farm hosts special events throughout the season, such as ‘An Evening at The Lavender Fields’. This event invites guests to spend an evening at the field (6 pm – 9 pm), where guests can wander the fields at their leisure, soak up the scenery, take photos at the optimum time of the day, and watch the sunset over a BBQ.

12. The Warwickshire Lavender Farm

The Warwickshire Lavender Farm is spread over eight acres with at least 20,000 lavender plants, including three different varieties of lavender and 1,000 rosemary plants. Every plant has been lovingly planted and tended on the farm, which are eventually distilled into lavender oil.

The lavender field is open in 2025 from 20th June until the beginning of August (closing date to be confirmed depending on weather). The field is open from Wednesdays – Sundays 10 am – 4pm.
